CRISTIEN MARCOTTE
Hi, I’m Cristien (pronounced Christine), the hands and heart behind SKINCRVFT. Originally from Texas, I’ve called Chicago home for the past 15 years. After becoming a mother to two incredible children, I felt drawn back to school—this time to study the body, the skin, and the deeper systems that influence how we age, heal, and feel. I hold licenses in both Esthetics and Massage Therapy and am currently working toward my Bachelor of Science in Nursing, deepening my understanding of anatomy, physiology, and whole-body health.
SKINCRVFT was created as a sanctuary where science and soul meet. My work is rooted in a functional, holistic approach—one that recognizes that skin health does not exist in isolation. Fascia must be released for lymph to flow. The nervous system must feel safe for true repair to occur. And touch, when applied with intention, has the power to regulate, restore, and transform from the inside out.
My treatments are not simply facials—they are experiences, rituals. Through techniques such as myofascial release, lymphatic drainage, breathwork, and intuitive, intentional touch, I support the parasympathetic “rest and digest” state where the body does its most meaningful work. This is where tension softens, inflammation quiets, and the skin begins to respond in a deeper, more lasting way.
I believe results aren’t achieved by products alone. They come from what we activate within—circulation, breath, presence, and connection. Each session is tailored, unhurried, and designed to meet you where you are, whether that’s holding stress in your jaw, your shoulders, or simply moving through a demanding season of life.
At SKINCRVFT, my intention is that you leave not only looking refreshed, but feeling grounded, regulated, and more connected to yourself. Aging well, to me, is not about resisting time—it’s about honoring the body through thoughtful care, ritual-based artistry, and respect for the systems that keep us well.
